LOOKING FWD ON THE WEB
Your plans.
Your privacy.
Looking FWD is made by John Mackay. This page describes the web service at lookingfwdapp.com. Last updated: 29 October 2026.
What the web service stores
When you create a web account, we store your email address, authentication details, and the events and event types you choose to save, including dates, names, notes and emojis. We use this information to provide your account and show you your events.
Services that help it work
Cloudflare hosts the website and processes requests and operational logs. Supabase provides authentication and stores web account and event data in the London region. Resend delivers login emails and processes the recipient address, email content and delivery information. These services may process operational information outside the UK.
Access and browser storage
Your events are associated with your account and protected by database access policies. We store your login session in your browser so you can stay signed in. Log out on shared devices. This website does not add advertising trackers or optional analytics.
Your choices
You can edit or delete web events and event types from your account. Deleted items are hidden and retained as deletion records to support future device sync. For a copy of your information or permanent deletion of your account and associated data, email support@johnmackay.dev from your account email. Backups and operational logs may persist for the providers’ retention periods.
Existing mobile apps
This initial web version does not import or synchronise your existing iOS or Android events. Those events remain in the mobile apps. See the mobile app privacy information for those versions.
